HELENA-WEST HELENA SCHOOLS

The HWHSD administration is aware of the current water situation that is impacting the families in West Helena, Arkansas.  The district is collaborating with the city and community on how to provide support to the impacted families.  Although the district prefers that all students be on-site for instruction.  The district understands that some students may miss due to the impact of the water outage.  All students who miss school due to the outage will receive an excused absence. The district is waiving the uniform policy until further notice.  Students must adhere to the dress code policy that is stated  HWHSD Student Hand Book
