Why Early Learning Matters?

Give your child the strongest start possible! High-quality early childhood education offers lifelong benefits:

  • High-quality Pre-K strengthens early language, literacy, and math skills so children enter kindergarten ready to learn, compared to children who do not attend.

  • Children who attend quality Pre-K are more likely to do better in elementary school and beyond.

  • Research finds children who attend strong preschool programs are less likely to be held back or referred to special education in early grades—helping them stay on track with their peers.

  • Children in high-quality early childhood programs show gains in social skills and fewer behavior problems—skills that help them learn and make friends in school.

  • Attending an early childhood program can lead to higher graduation rates, better jobs, and improved health later in life.

  • High-quality Pre-K can help close achievement gaps by giving all children a level playing field before kindergarten.
